Flight dispatcher

Key responsibilities:

• Develop flight plans according to EASA requirements, considering external factors such as weather conditions, airspace restrictions and passenger requirements.
• Coordinate with ground staff, pilots and other departments.
• Ensure all flights comply with both national and international aviation regulations.
• Monitor flights in real-time, making sure to make the necessary adjustments during the flight to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Serve as the main liaison with third-party providers, including permit providers, ground handling services, other airports, and catering companies

Qualifications:

• You reside in Belgium.
• You have relevant experience as a dispatcher. Experience as a flight dispatcher is a plus, but not a requirement.
• You have a fluent knowledge of English. You also speak fluent Dutch or French.
• You have excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• You are able to work under pressure and remain calm under emergencies.
• Overtime is not a problem for you, which you can of course recover at quieter moments.
• You can work full-time in a changing schedule, which includes day work, evening work and weekend work
